Our ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System

English Leahy operates a formal Quality Management System which is independently certified to the ISO 9001:2015 standard by NQA (National Quality Assurance).

ISO 9001:2015 is the internationally recognised benchmark for quality management in organisations of all sizes. It sets out how a firm should design, document, and continually improve its processes so that clients receive a consistent, reliable and high-quality service.

We first achieved ISO 9001 certification in 1998 and have maintained it continuously since then. This means our work is subject to regular external audits as well as internal review to ensure that the way we manage files, communicate with clients, and run our office meets the requirements of the standard.

In practical terms, our ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System means that:

We actively monitor deadlines, turnaround times and client communication, and take corrective action where needed.

We carry out ongoing reviews and internal audits to identify risks, improve our systems and prevent problems before they arise.

We are committed to continual improvement, using client feedback, audit findings and staff training to enhance the service we provide.

Eligibility to retain this accreditation requires that we adhere to the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System standard in our day-to-day operations, undergo an annual programme of review and complete a full re-certification audit every three years.
